An Evening at the Baker Pro Rodeo
“Then came the Cowgirl Chicks, a highlight of the night. They rode in waving American and state flags before showing off incredible tricks. “

The Keeper of Light
“The light grew brighter, almost nudging him to think deeper. Long-buried memories surfaced. He recalled . . . ”

Sunrise at Destin Harbor
“Most boats sit quietly in the harbor, waiting for the day to begin while others make their way into the Gulf, their silhouettes cutting across the golden water.”

A View from Above: Asheville in All Its Glory

Anybody Can Be a Photographer
About the photo:
I photographed this towering cloud as it stretched skyward, building into what could soon become a thunderstorm. Below it, wisps of rain evaporate before reaching the ground, a sign of strong convective activity. If it continues to grow, it may evolve into a full-fledged cumulonimbus cloud, crowned with an anvil top. How spectacular! But for now, it remains a cumulus congestus, a striking, billowing formation and a powerful precursor to the storm to come.
Excerpt:
“With my camera in one hand and my tripod in the other, I made my way toward the dock. I wasn’t sure where I’d get the best angle, so I wandered along the shoreline. Finally, I found it…”

The Ethics of Truth in Real Estate Photography: Balancing Enhancement and Honesty
About the Photo:
This weathered oyster house in Apalachicola, Florida, stands as a quiet reminder of the town’s maritime past. Its rusted metal siding and faded blue panels bear the marks of time, while the stilts beneath hint at its resilience against coastal tides. In the foreground, burlap sacks lie scattered on gravel, remnants of a once-thriving oyster industry. Overgrown vegetation creeps in, blending nature with history, as the calm waters behind it reflect a bygone era. Though aged and worn, this structure remains a symbol of Apalachicola’s deep connection to the sea. Photo taken Jan. 26, 2014, 1:41 PM
Excerpt from my story:
“Luckily, from my experience, I've seen how agents want honest photos. I’m fortunate to work with realtors who value accuracy and professionalism, and that makes my job even more rewarding.”
